16" Recycled Cedar Sweat Lodge Drum
This is a traditional double headed Native drum. Lodge drums are approximately 5" in depth. Because this drum has two rawhides, it is the preferred type for sweat lodges, but the two hides raise the cost as well.
We
use thick steer rawhide for the heads and laces. We do not use bleached
hides because bleaching weakens rawhide. Note the beautiful golden
brown color of our hides.
We have tested these drums.
Friends and customers have tested the lodge drums. The results: our
native sweat lodge drums still sing after 28 stones.
We took one of our lodge drum
into the lodge and went through all four rounds with many songs still in her. We do not charge cards on the internet for your safety. Shipment for
drums is 15% and 20% for Pow Wow Drums. When you order ignore the
shipping charges. We add the shipping when we are ready to ship.
