Keith Little Badger builds all of his powwow drums from river recovered cedar. No trees had to die. Why kill a new tree when you can use recycled lumber? Keith does not use old band drum hulls or plywood. He builds vertical stave powwow drums. Each drum comes to life in a good way, without damage to Mother Earth. Each cedar powwow drum is a work of art. The red of the cedar stands for the blood of the people.

We now head all of our powwow drum with top grain 5mm thick bull hides. These hides are as thick as buffalo hides. With so many professional Native American powwow teams playing Little Badger drums, we decided it was time to upgrade from cow rawhide.

Our tannery rawhides organically. They do not use any poisonous chemicals or bleach to create their rawhide. These hides are a beautiful, rich golden brown color. Tough as buffalo, bull hides will last a life time.   We are opposed to using buffalo because these magnificent animals were once hunted nearly to extinction. We have finally found the perfect alternative to killing buffalo - tough, beautiful bull hides that were cured in a way that does not harm our environment! Keith is now building all powwow drums 14 inches high to create a deeper sound. We provide a furniture grade very sturdy Red Oak Stand FREE with each powwow drum. Stands collapse into two flat pieces for easy transportation. He builds stand high so you don't have to bend over for three days at a powwow. If you want a lower stand, just cut the legs to your own size! When you compare drum prices, be sure to ask if the stand is included. We provide a FREE Elevated Swing Stand and FREE drum stick with every Powwow Drum.

We do not charge cards on the internet for your safety. Shipment for drums is 15% and 20% for Pow Wow Drums. When you order ignore the shipping charges.   We add the shipping when we are ready to ship. That is when we charge your card.
