The
present Khukri design found it's origins with the Ghurka
tribes in or around the 7th century BC (about 2500 years
ago). Since that time this blade style has
become world renown. Legend has it that when you
pull your blade it has to draw blood before it can be
returned to it's sheath. Today, Ghurka warriors
stand side-by-side with British troops in Iraq, and the
famous Khukri knife is still their fighting knife of
choice.
