Payment Options

To make your online shopping experience convenient, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Checks, and Money Orders -- with no additional surcharge for payment type.

Checks and Money Orders
  • All first party checks and money orders are accepted, with a 10 day holding period on checks to insure that they clear.
  • Because the actual shipping cost may be less than the amount calculated on the invoice (please see Shipping Prices for more information on this.), please wait for an email from our staff with your total before sending your payment.
Credit Cards
  • For your protection, ES thoroughly investigates the validity of all credit card charges. We prefer to send credit card orders to your credit card billing address to avoid any unnecessary delays, from this verification. Note: If you are concerned about purchasing with a credit card online, please feel free to place your order online and call our number with your credit card details (An option for this is provided in the payment options of the shopping cart.). You may have to leave a message.  We will get back to you.
  • If you have any continued hesitation about online purchases, please contact your bank to address your concerns and to receive more information on online safety.
  • We do not apply charges until your order ships.
  • We will not process credit card charges billed to an institution outside of the United States.
  • Your credit card charge will read "Cool Store" on your monthly statement.

Credit Card Fraud Prevention & Reporting Measures

Customer Information: To keep your information secure, Extremely Sharp retains your payment information on a separate and secure computer and only for the minimal length of time to complete your order. For our many returning customers, you will have to enter you payment information with each order, but this helps to insure your credit information is kept secure.

Illegal Use of Someone Else's Credit Card: Conviction on Credit Card Fraud Carries Penalties of 10 Years Imprisonment and/or a $10,000 Fine!

U.S.C. Title 18, Section 3056, Subsection (b), specifically authorizes the United States Secret Service to detect and arrest any person who violates federal criminal laws relating to credit card fraud and related activity in connection with computers and/or access devices.

Extremely Sharp's order fulfillment process and screening process takes many measures to prevent fraudulent credit card usage. In the rare event that a fraudulent order passes our screening process, we will report the fraud to the appropriate legal authorities and provide those authorities with the necessary information to complete an arrest and effective prosecution. We will report the fraud to your Internet Service Provider for action under their Acceptable Use Policies. We may also initiate civil action against you.

To date, we have worked with state and federal authorities to protect your information and have seen 18 separate convictions associated with the attempted (most caught by our screening process) usage of 30+ illegally used credit card numbers. We believe in protecting your information whether you are our customer or not and will always turn over suspicious information to the authorities.

Standard Shipping Prices:

Shipping items such as swords is costly due to their weight and the care taken in packing, while the shipping of knives and martial arts equipment is often much cheaper. We have priced our shipping to cover heavier items. Thus, Actual shipping & handling costs are very often less than the amount on the invoice. We do not try to make a profit off of S&H. Therefore, if actual shipping costs are less than the amount on your invoice your bill will be lowered. Shipping & handling fee will never exceed the amount on you invoice (table below contains S&H costs used for initial invoice.) Because of this process, we will not bill your credit card until after the S&H has been determined by one of our staff. Also, please wait for an email containing actual invoice total if paying by check.
Our shipping rates are based on the total of the sale. The shipping rate chart is:
  • $0-40 = 4.95
  • 40.01-70 = 7.95
  • 70.01-100 = 9.95
  • 100.01-160 = 13.95
  • 160.01-200 = 18.95
  • 200.01-300 = 24.95
  • 300.01- = 28.95
Additional Information:
  • All orders are processed as soon as the payment method has been verified.
  • Orders processed before 10am EST are usually shipped the same day.
  • No additional shipping charges will be assessed for items shipped separately.
  • Back ordered items are only billed when they ship.
  • We regret that we cannot deliver to APO/FPO addresses or to international locations at this time.
  • Please note that products shipped within the state of Alabama will incur a sales tax of 8.0%. If you are exempt from Alabama sales tax, please mail us a copy of your Sales Tax Exempt Certificate to our credit department at Extremely Sharp

International Customers

At this time, Extremely Sharp is able to ship to locations within the U.S. only, with some limited shipping to Canada. If you live in Canada and would like to place an order with Extremely Sharp, please contact our customer service department.
We are currently in the process of establishing our international shipping capabilities, and we hope to have worldwide coverage in the near future. In addition, we can not process credit card charges billed to an institution outside the U.S.

Product Satisfaction Guarantee

  • All non-defective products must be returned within 30 days of the date of invoice, and are subject to a 25% Restocking Fee.
  • All defective products will be accepted for repair or replacement only within 30 days of the date of invoice.
  • After 30 days the Manufacturer's Warranty applies.
  • All returns must be in original saleable condition, 100% complete, with all packaging material, manuals, and accessories.
  • A Repair/Replacement Fee will be assessed to all authorized returns received incomplete or damaged, or may be refused at our discretion.
  • Shipping costs are not refundable.

If a return-for-credit is approved (we are very accommodating), Extremely Sharp will issue a credit within 14 calendar days from the date that we receive the return.

If a return-for-repair or replacement is authorized, Extremely Sharp will advise you regarding the anticipated turn-around time. Shipping costs are not refundable.

Security

Extremely Sharp Swords & Knives is a secure site. This means that if you use a secure browser such as Netscape Navigator, Internet Explorer or Firefox, you'll be able to enter your credit card information on-line with confidence. This information will then be encrypted to prevent viewing by others. Our system uses an encryption code of greater than 7 digits to encrypt all orders beyond the standard encryption offered through SSL. If you do not feel comfortable with ordering online please call our Customer Service Center to place your order. To ensure your credit card number is secure, we do not keep it on record. You will need to enter your credit card number for each separate order.

Pricing Policies

Our product merchandisers conduct weekly competitive shopping exercises for all channels including on-line, mail order, and traditional retail stores. Our mission is to provide you with the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible price. Weaponry is your passion and ours, whether it is for camping, hiking, sparring, self defense, re-enactment or other activities.

Legal Stuff

Indemnification: Laws vary widely from state to state and country to country, and these laws also change often. Extremely Sharp cannot be expected to keep track of the ever-changing legal landscape in all locations. Therefore, please note that it is the responsibility of the BUYER, NOT THE SELLER, to ascertain, comply with and abide by all applicable federal, state and local laws applying to the purchase, possession, shipment or use of any items purchased from Extremely Sharp or any of its affiliates. By placing an order with and/or completing an order with Extremely Sharp or any of its affiliates, the Buyer agrees to the following:
  • The Buyer will hold harmless the seller or any agent or any affiliate thereof in any event associated with the purchase, use, misuse or legality of any product.
  • The Buyer also holds harmless the seller for any injury of any kind associated with any item purchased.
  • The Buyer attests that they are over the age of 18 and are familiar with all applicable laws and assumes all responsibility for any statements, representations or purchases made under penalty of law.
  • The Buyer understands that Extremely Sharp or any of its affiliates may change this policy at any time and it is the responsibility of the Buyer to read all applicable policies.
Extremely Sharp does its best to accurately represent the products it sells through photos, prices and descriptions. Occasionally errors are made. In the event of an error, we will work with you to correct your order to reflect any necessary changes and you will be notified of these changes. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Customer Privacy Policy

Extremely Sharp keeps all customer information private. We may use your contact information to send you periodic updates or newsletters, unless you opt out.

We will never sell or trade your name or contact information to any outside entity. We deal with spam on a daily basis just as you do and believe that your information belongs to you. Therefore, we do not believe that selling your information is a good business practice. We make every attempt to keep your contact information safe and private.

Are you receiving an error when adding items to your cart?

We use a high level security system to protect your online transactions with us and this sometimes causes problems.

If you are using ZoneAlarm Pro®, Norton Internet Security®, Norton Personal Firewall® or one of the dozens of other paid personal firewalls, a setting in your personal firewall could be causing this error. Many of these firewalls block necessary information from the Extremely Sharp shopping cart software. The shopping cart software calls this "referrer" information; some firewall applications call it "personal headers" or "private header information." It is also possible for settings in some hardware firewalls to cause this error.

To configure ZoneAlarm Pro® so it doesn't cause this error: go to the "Privacy" menu in Zone Alarm, and under "Cookie Control," select "Custom." Under "3rd Party Cookies," un-check the box titled "Remove private header information". This should correct the error and will not effect your privacy or security when ordering.

To configure Norton Internet Security® so it doesn't cause this error: you need to set up a "rule" for Extremely Sharp.

To configure Norton Personal Firewall® so it doesn't cause this error: Go to Options, Internet Options, Advanced Options, Privacy, and change the Referrer box to Permit.
