Karyu (Old Style) Katana

The original Katana's were straight style blades, much like the ninja blades that are sold today. The Samurai learned that the curved blade was easier to pull out of the sheath and had a much wider striking power.

This Karyu or old style katana honors these first katanas.

This is a well made sword. 41inches overall 26.5 inch carbon steel, live blade. Machine and hand sharpened. Comes with a battle tsuba to honor our ancestors that came before us.
