Caltrops are also known as coltrap, galtrop, cheval trap, galthrap, galtrap, calthrop, and crow's foot.

This is a 10 Pack of black non glare sharp, edged caltrops. Each on is approximately about 1 3/4" long, 3/4" wide and 1-1/4" tall. Caltrops have been used since ancient times to be a hazard to an enemy, whether on foot or in a vehicle. They may be thought of as landmines from antiquity, used to shape the battlefield and to force the enemy to take certain paths. They were uses as part of a passive defense. Caltrops slowed down the advance of war horses, war elephants, camels and infantry troops.

Caltrops are used in self-defense, thrown on the ground when being chased. You can place them at entrances to your home such as windows, doors, garages and even fences to detract thieves and trespassers. The great design of a caltrop is that no matter how they land, there is always a sharp spike that will make contact with the target each and every time.
