This is foolproof fire starter and was originally developed for the Swedish Department of Defense. This Army version of the Firesteel is used by armed forces all over the world. A great tool for any survival kit, this firesteel works every time wet as well as it does dry. It produces a 3000°C (5,500°F) spark and lasts for a minimum of 12,000 strikes. The spark is so bright, it can also be used as an emergency signal. The Light My Fire Firesteel is light and compact.Carry it in your pocket, attach it to your backpack, pack it in a first-aid kit or you can wear it around your neck. A must for backpackers, campers, hunters, fishermen, survivalists and rescue teams.
