Daggers were to be found in every culture during medieval times. They were the most basic weapon for personal protection.
Daggers were companions to the medieval sword.

Medieval daggers were traditionally double edged small pointed knife used by soldiers for personal protection during warfare. When a soldier could not access their other weapons like swords and spears their daggers were there. These were short knives with a pointed blade used as a piercing, thrusting or stabbing weapon. These daggers were known to be very sharp and could penetrate shields and armor.

Daggers were the only weapon commoners were allowed to carry on. They were the last and only line of defense.

Our Ulric replica is patterned from traditional designs. Our Ulric is 9-1/2" long with a 5-1/2" blade. The blade is double edged with a blood groove and forged from 440 stainless. Handle has a distinct pommel with ringed metal wrappings. Comes with a matching sheath.
